Tim Grieves<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tim was born in Lindsay Ontario and grew up in a Christian family.  At the age of 10, he turned from his sins to find forgiveness in Christ\u2019s death and resurrection.  After completing a degree in music performance at Wilfrid Laurier University, Tim felt God calling him to greater service of Him, so after 5 years of work, he went to serve God in China. After 8 years of serving in China, Tim returned to Canada with a Chinese-American wife, Ann, and 2 wonderful children \u2013 Jonathan and Kaitlyn.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon returning to Canada, Tim knew that he was called to serve the Chinese Church as a pastor, so he attended Heritage Seminary to complete a Master of Divinity.  While studying, he began to serve at Chinese Gospel Church in 2015, where he continues to happily serve. It\u2019s Tim\u2019s passion to see people serve on mission wherever God\u2019s put them, and to help people grow in their appreciation for the gospel, and their worship and service to their Lord.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mike Whittle<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Pastor Mike Whittle was born in England in 1956. He served in the Royal Navy for five years.  It was in the Navy that he heard the Gospel in all its freeness for the first time and trusted the Lord Jesus – he was 19 years old. After working for seven years in the secular world, Mike had such a burden for the lost, that, in 1987, he sold his house and car, and came to Toronto to study at Central Baptist Seminary (now Heritage), where he married Ramee in 1986.  They have two children and three grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduation, Mike was called to Chinese Gospel Church to Pastor Agape Gospel Church. He served for 27 years and saw hundreds of people saved and baptised. After COVID, with Mike\u2019s retirement close, Agape decided to amalgamate with Chinese Gospel Church Scarborough. Pastor Mike now serves as a semi-retired pastor, supporting the English and Mandarin ministries, and enjoying the fellowship and ministry of all the pastors and members of Chinese Gospel Church Scarborough.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Daniel Findling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Born to a Christian family, Daniel spent most of his childhood roaming the cities and villages of south China. He grew up in a family where the gospel message and its effects were unmistakable and so he struggles to remember a time when his life wasn\u2019t already given over to Christ. Yearning to know God more, Daniel sought to learn more about his faith and the bible. He completed a diploma at St. Augustine College, Ottawa (2018) before going on to get a B.A. in Theology and Biblical Studies (2022) and a M.A. in Theology and Letters (2023) at Bethlehem College and Seminary, Minneapolis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An extreme bible-loving extrovert, Daniel is passionate about two things: God and people. His idea of a good time is spending an evening pouring over the Bible with friends or doing literally anything — so long as its with someone else. If you see him at Church, please come up and introduce yourself, Daniel would love to meet you!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Shirley Gim<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Shirley was born in Hong Kong and her family immigrated to Canada when she was 3 years old. She first heard about the Gospel message when she was 14 and became a born again Christian in her 30s. After finishing her Bachelor of Communication Studies in the US, she moved to Korea to teach English. She met her husband through a friend and they got married in South Korea. After the birth of her first born daughter-Chelsea, Brian and Shirley moved back to Canada in 2012 and subsequently added 2 more children into their family: Sydney and Jacob. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shirley has over 13 years of experience supporting children with autism in the Greater Toronto Area. She holds a Master of Arts in Applied Behaviour Analysis and is trained in early intervention. In 2023, she supported the development of a neurodiverse Sunday School program. In 2025, Shirley joined CGCS and is currently serving as a Children\u2019s Ministry Intern. She is also pursuing a Master of Theological Studies at Wycliffe College to further ground her work in biblical foundations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
