And\u00a0the power of the Lord was with him to heal.\u00a0<sup>18\u00a0<\/sup>And behold, some men were bringing\u00a0on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus,\u00a0<sup>19\u00a0<\/sup>but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on\u00a0the roof and let him down with his bed\u00a0through the tiles into the midst before Jesus.\u00a0<sup>20\u00a0<\/sup>And\u00a0when he saw their faith, he said,\u00a0\u201cMan,\u00a0your sins are forgiven you.\u201d\u00a0<sup>21\u00a0<\/sup>And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, \u201cWho is this who speaks\u00a0blasphemies?\u00a0Who can forgive sins but God alone?\u201d\u00a0<sup>22\u00a0<\/sup>When Jesus\u00a0perceived their thoughts, he answered them,\u00a0\u201cWhy do you question in your hearts?\u00a0<sup>23\u00a0<\/sup>Which is easier, to say, \u2018Your sins are forgiven you,\u2019 or to say, \u2018Rise and walk\u2019?\u00a0<sup>24\u00a0<\/sup>But that you may know that\u00a0the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins\u201d\u2014he said to the man who was paralyzed\u2014\u201cI say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.\u201d\u00a0<sup>25\u00a0<\/sup>And immediately he rose up before them and picked up what he had been lying on and went home,\u00a0glorifying God.\u00a0<sup>26\u00a0<\/sup>And amazement seized them all, and they\u00a0glorified God and were filled\u00a0with awe, saying, \u201cWe have seen extraordinary things today.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4
