Tim Grieves preached this sermon on June 30, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sermon Outline:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jesus Transforms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scripture Passage:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>John 2:1-11 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On\u00a0the third day there was a wedding at\u00a0Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.\u00a0<sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus also was invited to the wedding with\u00a0his disciples.\u00a0<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, \u201cThey have no wine.\u201d\u00a0<sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>And Jesus said to her,\u00a0\u201cWoman,\u00a0what does this have to do with me?\u00a0My hour has not yet come.\u201d\u00a0<sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>His mother said to the servants, \u201cDo whatever he tells you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup>Now there were six stone water jars there&nbsp;for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty&nbsp;gallons.&nbsp;<sup>7&nbsp;<\/sup>Jesus said to the servants,&nbsp;\u201cFill the jars with water.\u201d&nbsp;And they filled them up to the brim.<sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup>And he said to them,&nbsp;\u201cNow draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.\u201d&nbsp;So they took it.&nbsp;<sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup>When the master of the feast tasted&nbsp;the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom&nbsp;<sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup>and said to him, \u201cEveryone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.\u201d&nbsp;<sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup>This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested&nbsp;his glory.
