In 2016, Chinese Gospel Church became involved with the ministry of Adam House, a Christian shelter which provides short term accommodation and resettlement services to refugees in Toronto. Once a quarter, CGC participated in their Tuesday Bible studies and provided warm meals for the residents. Subsequently, the partnership with Adam House deepened as Genesis Fellowship, along with their leaders, actively participated in their social Fridays by sharing testimonies and providing warm meals periodically. CGC also financially supports Adam House’s spiritual coordinator, Markus Gommel.
Adam House’s main building is located at 430 Gladstone Avenue. It also has 3 transitional houses: one in North York, and two in East York.
