Handel’s Messiah is a class work that has been performed every year since its composition almost 200 years ago. Setting multiple Scripture passages to music, Messiah provides a stirring and compelling account of Jesus Christ, starting from Old Testament prophecies of His coming: through His birth, life, ministry, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension; to the progress of His Gospel; culminating in His final victory and reign over all things.
